I began knitting Jaden's baby blanket today. I casted on my circular needles and told myself I was going to be finished with the blanket by August. Oh the joy of yarn wrapped around my fingertips as I wave the simple pattern that will bring joy through many winter months until Jaden outgrows it.
In my case, the 'boxes' of boxing day were shoe boxes! Mum and I went into the city to get some threads for her embroidery, use her Christmas book token, have starbucks and perhaps peek into some of the sales.

So this morning I cleaned out my shoe cupboard and got rid of about 10 or so pairs, I'm just sick of having so much extraneous stuff. I also got some OPI top coat to use with the adorable polishes Bec got me for Christmas, and I found a penguin classic that I have only seen the film of and absolutely LOVE!
Speaking of, I myself have plans on going out for lunch today,and I want to eat breakfast and paint my nails so that's it from me!
I've committed myself, in fact, I've committed myself to a deadline.
